About Notts Appliance Rescue

At Notts Appliance Rescue, we are dedicated to extending the life of your appliances and repairing to keep good machines out of landfill. We pride ourselves on delivering quality service with a personal touch, treating each appliance as if it were our own.​

The background behind me setting up in appliance repair is multi-factored, but I'll try to give you the abridged version. I guess it all started back in my youth. Not being blessed with finances as a family, we had no choice but to be resourceful. If we could fix it, we would, and buying items regularly from charity shops wasn't unheard of. So, even back then, I used to tinker with things.

After a few jobs locally in retail, I studied film and TV and eventually worked for television companies in London, until I began my own video production company in 2010. However, the desire to repair rather than replace was always deep-rooted in me, and when the Covid pandemic hit in 2020, I got the bug back to fix things. I did a bit of DIY in the home and on my car, but when the opportunity to officially train as an appliance repair engineer presented itself, I grasped it with both hands.
